Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Prepare specialized meals based on dietary requirements, as directed by a chef
Schedule and supervise the activities of kitchen staff and helpers.
Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and food safety compliance.
Maintain accurate inventory records of food items, supplies, and kitchen equipment.
Set up and manage buffet stations when required.
Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas in accordance with sanitation regulations.
Assist in menu planning, including determining portion sizes, estimating food requirements and costs, and ordering necessary supplies.
Participate in hiring and training of new kitchen staff as needed.
