Om Maa Prabhu Inc. O/A Colonial House Motor Inn has an immediate opening for an experienced Motel Managing Supervisor (NOC: 62022) at our location in Perth, Ontario.

 

As a Motel Managing Supervisor (NOC: 62022), you will perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Welcome and register guests once they arrive.
  • Collect payment and maintain records of budgets, funds, and expenses.
  • Coordinate, assign and review the work of motel and other accommodation services clerks, reservation clerks and other workers.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  • Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
  • Resolve issues regarding motel services, amenities, and policies.
  • Organize activities and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure productivities.
  • Create and apply marketing strategy to promote the motel’s services and amenities.
  • Coordinate and external parties including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners.
  • Evaluate motel performance and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
  • Assist in financial activities including establishing room rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments.
  • Assist in hiring and train new staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Order supplies and materials maintain inventory.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work

Qualifications:

·       Completion of secondary school;

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required.

·       Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;

·       Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.

 

 

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35-40 hours/week)

Compensation: CA $ 22.75/hour
