Since 1996, Trees Organic Coffee has been doing things differently to keep coffee traditional. The company has since grown to multiple locations around Vancouver, with a combination of franchised and corporately run cafes. Trees also provides wholesale coffee and cheesecakes to businesses, restaurants and pubs. We are now looking for a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join us at the West Broadway location.

Main duties

·        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food

·        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

·        Establish work schedules and procedures

·        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

·        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures

·        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

Requirements

·        Completion of a college program in food service management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service

·        Well organized

·        Excellent and effective communication skills in verbal and written

·        Strong work ethic

Position: Food Service Supervisor

Working Hours: 35 hrs per week

Wage: $18.5 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
