Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records related to property management, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices, and providing insightful financial analysis. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our property portfolio and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles along with excellent analytical skills.
Duties
- Supervise staff
- Arrange training for staff
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
- Prepare reports and audit findings
- Examine accounting records
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Reconcile accounts
- Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data
- Post journal entries
- Manage cash
- Collect and analyze financial records of a business, such as financial statements, budgets, projections and sales data
- Assist in preparing annual budgets
- Prepare bank reconciliations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly within property management is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, financial auditing, account analysis, and budgeting practices.
- Familiarity with corporate finance principles and practices.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
