K S Painting & Renovation Inc. has immediate opening for 1 Wood Frame Carpenter (NOC: 7271) at our location in Brampton, Ontario.
As a Wood Frame Carpenter (NOC: 7271), you will perform some or all the following duties:
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawing and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
- May prepare cost estimates for clients
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- Minimum one year of experience is usually required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40-50 hours/week)
Compensation: $25.00 / Per Hour
