Must posses 3 plus years of experience managing kitchen and staff. Culinary education / diploma is an asset. Qualified candidate must have experience in Pakistani / Indian cuisine and to be comfortable in preparing curries, kebabs and biryani. Candidate must have Canadian residency and permit to work in Canada. Overseas applicants without this permission should not apply.
Hands on day to day operations and managing of kitchen.
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies.
Inspect kitchen and food service areas and maintain high standards for upkeep, storing and sanitation.
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, supplies and equipment.
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and front areas.
