Job Description:

SDYS Transport Ltd. engages in the distribution networks to execute courier services and with the growth in business, we are presently looking for a bookkeeper to join our team. This job involves overseeing company’s financial data by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll and, financial entries and reconciliations.

Job requirements

  • Languages: English
  • Education: College or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Familiarity with Quick Books, MS Excel, MS Outlook

Specific Skills and responsibilities

  • Post journal entries,
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll,
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Keep financial records and establish
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Reconcile account
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
