Experience: Must have 2 year to less than 3 years Indian cuisine.Must be able to prepare doughs, breads and meats in the Tandoor.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff;
- Prepare and cook complete authentic Indian tandoor recipes and curry using special Indian herbs and spices;
- Work with specialized cooking equipment, such as the tandoor oven and deep fryer;
- Prepare and mix ingredients with specific species to create the right balance of taste;
- Create new recipes according to specific request of the clients;
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure quality of the food;
- Adapt menu dishes to accommodate customers with food orders;
- Plan menus and order food and kitchen supplies;
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Qualifications:
- 2- 3 years experience as Indian chef. Knowledge in meat marinating, Gas and Charcoal Tandoor operations, Naan and Roti making.
- Must be willing to commute to Toronto
- Must be available to work full-time
