Unlike other commercial lumber retailers, Lahaie Lumber can also produce wood products of custom dimensions and lengths to order.

Job Duties:

• Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
• Assist in operating and maintaining equipment
• Assist skilled tradespersons
• Perform other labouring and elemental tasks as required.
• Organize lumberyard of millions of board feet of lumber
• Load and unload tractor trailer shipments
• Take lumber in and out of dry kilns
• Ensure that all direct reports in the workplace take responsibility for aspects of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment over which they have control including adherence to all OHS&E requirements applicable to Lahaie Lumber Ltd.

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

• Secondary school education
• No experience required

Wage & Hours:   $20 per hour 

• Number of hours per day   8hrs to 10hrs per day                                        
• Number of days per week  5 days per week                                     
• Number of hours per week  44hrs per week                                                                               
• Shift rotation (as applicable)  Day shift only
