Job Title: Assistant Manager  (NOC 6311 – Food service supervisors) 

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent position 

Wage:  CAD 18 to 22$ per hour, depending on experience

Workload: 32 to 44 hours per week  

Expected Start Date: July 1st 2022

Company Description: 

We are a coffee shop well known for the brand (Tim Hortons) located in Sudbury, ON, with a 24h drive thru that serves various food products, baked goods and beverages. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assist in organizing and directing tasks with the staff on schedule 
• Assist in the training and orientation of new employees
• Deal with customer issues and complaints 
• Daily checking of the inventories and matching it with the labor percentage.
• Oversee the correct procedures are implemented with staff for the operations of the store 
• After the end of the day is done checking the cash and completing the cash deposits in the bank
• Ensure machines are calibrated and operational as well as cleaned on a regular schedule
• Assist in the running of company wide incentive and product programs
• Overall running of the business on a day to day basis
• Must be available on call basis as well

Education, Credentials and Experience Requirement: 

• Food Safety Certification
• Previous management experience, preferably in hospitality or food service
• Post secondary credential in business, hospitality or project management

• Trouble shooter and able to foresee solutions to issues calmly
• Patience and understanding 
• Reliability and flexibility
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
