Successful Candidate will possess the following Qualifications:

• A positive attitude
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs 
• Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Should be able to operate and drive straight trucks to transport goods
• Should be able to tarp, strap, and ensure safety and security of cargo
  
  

Key responsibilities:

• Furniture moving, handling, packing, and transporting (including loading and unloading of truck)
• Taking payments and handling client paperwork at the job site
• Abiding by Canadian transportation laws and codes including safe driving practices
• Fueling the trucks
• Ensure the assigned truck is in a safe working condition by doing a daily truck inspection before each move.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, and customers
• Handling heavy loads
• Attention to detail

Job Type: Full time, Part-time

30 to 50 hours per week

$30,000 to $40,000 per year

Experience is not necessary but is an asset

There is a 6 month probationary period. After this period there is a pay increase, health care and pension benefits.

Annual performance reviews will also be conducted, as such will act as an opportunity for another pay increase.

Work Schedule:

• 8 to 12 hour shift
• Monday to Saturday (depending on work availability)
• Weekend availability
