Sunshine Coast Resort Ltd. is located in 12695 Sunshine Coast Hwy, Madeira Park, BC and is seeking an Hotel Receptionist to join our team.
The ideal candidate is one who is focused on guest service, who enjoys interacting and meeting new people. Candidate will have courteous and professional demeanor, and be willing to go extra mile to make guests experience exceptional.
Duties include but are not limited to:
l Check in guest in an efficient and friendly manner.
l Make and enter reservations accurately while reviewing hotel inventory.
l Assure that guest is assigned type of room requested, the correct rate is charged, and issue correct keys to the guest.
l Check out guest at end of stay. Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges and present bill to guest. Settle bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.
l Complete reports and shift deposit accurately
l Handle all guests interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests whenever possible.
l Handle all guests inquiry or complaints in an efficiently and timely manner
l Previous hotel front desk or guest service experience is preferred.
l High School Diploma is required. College or University Degree would be an asset.
l Flexible to work varied shifts; days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
l Strong problem solving capabilities.
l Be patient and be a strong communicators in English.
l Able to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and be detail oriented.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00 per hour, overtime pay will apply after 40 hours per week
Schedule: 8 hour shift per day, 5 days per week
