KITCHEN HELPER (2 Vacancies, NOC 65201)
SUNSHINE FOOD EXPRESS is an expanding supplier offering a variety of pre-packed food including sandwiches, Asian dishes, rice and noodles and more. We serve and deliver to various food outlets around the City of Calgary. Opportunity is now available for dedicated individuals to join us as Kitchen Helper.
Major Responsibilities
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas, clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
- Wash, cut and prepare ingredients required for food preparation
- Prepare foods according to specific menu and methods
- Operate kitchen equipment in food preparation
- Pack food items ordered by customers and work on different orders simultaneously
- Receive delivery of supplies
Job Requirements
- Completed high school education
- No relevant experience required as on the job training will be provided
- A team player enjoys working in fast-paced working environment
- Must be able to start latest at 6:00AM in the morning and work on Sundays
- Able to communicate in English
Terms of Employment
- Full time, permanent
- 30 - 44 working hours / week
- Base wage starting at $15.00 / hour depends on experience
- 2 weeks annual paid vacation
