Bakery Store Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Store Manager to lead our teams of passionate bakers and sales associates. As the manager, you will oversee all activities of the bakery store, from managing daily operations to creating new delicious baked goods for our customers.

Terms of employment

• Permanent full-time
• $20 per hour, 40 hours per week

Job duties

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the bakery store
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training
• Lead, motivate and set work schedules for our teams of bakers and sales associates
• Create and maintain an inviting atmosphere for our customers and team members
• Develop menus and new products
• Manage inventory and order supplies
• Monitor production to ensure consistently high quality of baked goods
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation rules and standards
• Promptly investigate and resolve customer complaints
• Take initiative to meet sales targets and maximize store profitability
• Conduct training on all store activities, including baking and customer service techniques
• Maintain good relationships with customers and the community

Requirements

• One to two years of experience successfully managing a bakery store
• Comprehensive knowledge of baking techniques and methods, demonstrated by related training or work experience
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and customer service skills to carry out the job duties
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations with experience in ensuring compliance
• Attention to detail with demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment
• Can work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as store operations require
