13482553 Canada Inc. O/A Manny’s Restaurant has an immediate opening for 2 Kitchen Helper (NOC: 65201) at our location in Cornwall, Ontario.
As a Kitchen Helper (NOC: 65201), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Helping the Chef in all kitchen work.
· Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
- Clean peel, slice and trim food stuffs using manual and electronics appliances
- Prepare meals according to the daily menu ensuring freshness and variety, adhering to all food safety preparation guidelines and Company safety/food handling procedures.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
- Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
- Use various utensils like deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers, and other equipment to prepare fast food items.
- Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to adhere to health standards
- Ensuring that your workstation remains clean and orderly at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
· Completion of secondary school;
· On the job training will be provided.
· Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;
· Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $ 16.00 /hour
