G3M Transport Inc. has immediate opening for an Office Administrative Assistant (NOC: 13110) at our location in Brampton, Ontario.
As an Office Administrative Assistant you will perform some or all the following duties:
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or services areas.
- Respond to customer requests & queries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Enter new orders into the systems and maintain the customer portals with up-to-date information.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Determine and establish office procedures.
- Organize and schedule appointments.
- Schedule meetings, develop agendas, and record minutes.
- Book meeting rooms as required.
- Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of Company reports
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment.
- Making reports for sales and pending orders.
- Arranging shipping schedule and tracking once the goods are exported from supplier location.
- Regularly communicate with suppliers for material readiness status & making reports for the same.
- Coordinating with accounts department for customer’s due payment details.
- Prepare and proofread and edit correspondence, presentations, and relevant material.
- Organize and maintain a filing system for important and confidential company documents.
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
Qualification Requirements
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous 1-2 years of clerical experience is required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 Hours)
Compensation: $ 25.00/ Hour
