A2A SECURITY AGENCY INC. has an immediate opening for an experienced General manager - financial, communications and other business services (NOC: 00012) at our location in Toronto, Ontario.
As a General manager - financial, communications and other business services, you will perform some or all of the following duties:
- Develop the company's mission and strategic direction by setting policies and specific objectives. Achieve these goals by effectively managing resources such as human, financial, and material assets.
- Authorize and oversee the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Allocate resources, including materials, personnel, and finances, to implement organizational policies and programs. Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure efficient operations. Review and approve promotional campaigns and overall human resources planning.
- Choose middle managers, directors, and executives, delegating necessary authority to them. Create an optimal working environment for these individuals to thrive.
- Act as the representative of the organization or assign delegates to engage in negotiations and other official functions on behalf of the company.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in business administration, commerce, computer science or other discipline related to the service provided is required.
- 2-3 years of experience as a middle manager in financial, communications or other business services is required.
- Specialization in a particular functional area or service is possible through specific university training in that area or through previous experience.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $ 65.00/hour
