Kibo Japanese Grill & Cafe in Hope, BC is a hiring qualified Line Cook to join our team.
Position: Line Cook
Number of Positions: 1
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Compensation: $16.75 ~ $17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of Work: 30 ~ 40 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary per year
Location of Work: Hope, BC
Language of Work: English
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Japanese dishes such as sushi rolls, donburi, udon, tempura, gyoza and teriyaki
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Ensure that the high quality of foods and proper size of food portions are maintained
- Supervise and train kitchen helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work area
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial cooking is required.
- Completion of secondary school is required.
