Full time Accounting Business Development Consultant

Job Description:

Consultation:

  1. Engaging with clients to understand their business objectives, financial structures, and tax-related challenges. Providing expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and optimization strategies.
  2. Consulting clients on compliance and quality audits reports and formulating quality assurance processes and standards. 
  3. Managing multiple client engagements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage the firm’s expertise in various tax specialties.

Strategy Development:

  1. Conducting business viability assessments and proposing improvement methods, systems and procedures in different areas including operations, taxation, and human resources.
  2. Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of mergers and acquisitions, customer relationship management, human resource transformation, enterprise strategy transformation, finance transformation and operations transformation.  
  3. Staying abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to help clients proactively adapt and implement innovative strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Risk Assessment/Management:

  1. Evaluating potential tax risks and proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard clients from regulatory issues.
  2. Conducting thorough risk assessments on various tax-related activities and preparing detailed reports outlining tax strategies, findings, and recommendations for clients.

Training and Supervision:

  1. Duties could involve supervising and training contracted workers or clerical staff.

Qualifications/Skillsets

  1. A bachelor’s degree or higher in business, economics, finance, or a related field. Additionally, any Diploma and/or Certification on trade & business.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in management consulting.
  3. Demonstrated integrity and work ethic along with sound decision making and creative thinking capabilities.
  4. Proficiency in English.
  5. A good understanding of the global market, trade and taxation, foreseeing the trends & issues, identifying the opportunity & challenges and the factors that affect stakeholders’ interests.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle complex data and situations.
  7. Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
