JCC Construction is looking for three experienced and skilled Carpenters to join their team as soon as possible. Full-time (40 hours per week) and permanent for the right individuals. Wages are $36.60 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation.
Job sites will be in Vancouver and surrounding cities/Lower Mainland.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience: at least 2 – 3 years of carpentry experience
2. Language: Functional English language is required (speaking, reading and writing)
3. Education: None required
Specific Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
