At Faubourg Kerrisdale location, we are currently looking for a full-time and permanent Food Service Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff
- Effectively create shift schedule including workstation assignments/rotations, employee vacations, employee breaks and overtime assignment
-Train staff in job duties
- Deal with complaints arise from customers and special requests in a timely, friendly and professional manner
- Ensure food service and quality control
- Maintain the supplies and inventory by estimating and ordering supplies required for smooth operation
- Prepare sales reports and complete checklists and procedures for cash reporting and inventory control
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Ensure the compliancy with all health and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned by the owner
Education, skills and experience required:
- Completion of high school
- Several years of experience in food industry or hospitality such as a server, kitchen helper, and/or supervisor
- Must have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
Language: Communication skills in English
Compensation:
$21.00 - $24.00 / hour (depends on experience/qualifications), 4% Vacation Pay, Extended medical will be provided after one-year continuous full-time work
