Job Duties:
• Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform all maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Repair equipment, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems as well as welding work, when needed.
• Inspect and investigate the cause of the failure or malfunction of machinery in order to perform corrective repairs.
• Install, optimize and/or adjust all plant equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies when mechanical problems occur at the operation.
• Operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.

• Demonstrate collaborative spirit and initiative, ability to work in teams.
• Respect of safety standards. Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
• Flexible and available to work on shifts (day, evening or night).
• Must be able to obtain Trade Certificate, if required.
Experience Required:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance of industrial equipment.
Education Required:
• College degree/certificate in industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
Wage & Hours: $41.43 per hour as per CBA
• Number of hours per day: 12
• Number of days per week: 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Number of hours per week: 36-48 (84 bi-weekly)
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 40 hours per week and all hours worked on Sunday as per CBA
• Shift rotation: 7/7 rotation, day, evening or night shifts.
