(subject to the company remote work guidelines/reports to E-Commerce Director)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong emphasis on React
Knowledge: Strong fundamentals of JavaScript (ES6+) and experience with TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable web applications. A strong foundation in JavaScript, React and TypeScript; experience with integrating web applications with REST APIs, including handling data fetching, authentication, and error handling; proficient in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles; experience with version control systems such as Git.

Specific Skills: Develop high quality web applications using React, TypeScript, Redux, and Next.js and JavaScript (E56+) to create responsive user interfaces that meet business requirements and provide optimal user experiences; optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browser; integrate web applications with REST APIs to fetch and update data and ensure seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems; collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with the overall design and branding guidelines; write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and optimize web applications for performance and scalability; collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts and ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend systems; conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards and best practices; troubleshoot and debug technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize application downtime and ensure smooth operations; stay up to date with the latest frontend development trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement; participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities to ensure timely and successful project deliveries; provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the overall growth and development of the team
