2493629 Ontario Inc. has an immediate opening for Dispatchers Supervisor at our location in Brampton, Ontario.
As Dispatch Supervisor, you will perform some or the following duties:
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments and monitor the movement of shipments
- Make sure that shipments are delivered and received on time
- Prepare and submit reports,
- Resolve work related problems
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work of employees supervised
- Prepare and process custom documents for International and Canada wide shipments
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Qualifications:
- Completion of college diploma is required (Educational background in Supply Chain Management an asset)
- 1 years to less than 2 years of experience providing customer service in a similar work environment
- Knowledge of the transportation industry and North American geography are considered assets.
- Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Exceptional negotiation, decision making and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with good people skills.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-35 hours/week)
Compensation: $34.50/hour
