Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Home Child Care Provider to join our family. This full-time role is based in Vancouver South, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the well-being, development, and daily care of our child, along with helping manage household tasks in the parents’ absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for our child in a safe, supportive home environment
- Plan and lead age-appropriate recreational and educational activities, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor play, and local outings
- Escort our child to and from school, extracurricular activities, and medical appointments as needed
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs
- Monitor our child’s daily routines, including homework, hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in children's play areas, bedrooms, and common spaces
- Perform light household tasks including laundry and tidying up after meals and activities
- Report on our child’s daily activities, moods, behaviors, and any health concerns
- Take full responsibility for the household and our child’s care during parents’ absence
Qualifications:
- Secondary school
- Previous child care experience is highly preferred
- Reliable, responsible, and genuinely passionate about working with children
