Harpreet Singh Gill has an immediate opening for a family caregiver (TEER: 4, 44101) at our residence location in Airdrie, AB.
As a Nanny (TEER: 4, 44101), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Provide care and companionship for senior during periods of incapacitation
· Administer bedside and personal care to the elderly.
· Assist in activities such as ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
· Cook and prepare meals and special diet assigned for the elderly
· Assisting in the administration of medications as per the prescribed timetable given by doctor or a nurse
· May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds for elderly.
Qualifications:
· Some secondary school education is usually required.
· Home management experience may be required.
· College or other courses in home support may be required.
· First aid certification may be required.
· Completion of a training program in care of the elderly, care of persons with disabilities, convalescent care or in a related field may be required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 20.90/hour
