MST Rebar Inc. is looking for One (1) Carpenter to perform the following duties:
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate material requirements.
· Prepare layouts in conformance with blueprints, using measuring tools.
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
· Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures.
· Prepare cost estimates for clients as required.
· Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
· Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
· Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Terms of Employment:
· Salary: $35.00 per hour; 30-40 hours per week
· Permanent, Full-Time
· Start date: immediately
· Benefits: medical and dental insurance after successful completion of probation.
Requirements:
· Education: Completion of secondary school or above is required.
· Experience: Minimum one year of relevant experience as a carpenter
· Must be able to lift between 20 and 40 lbs as required during their shift
· Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
· Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Must be able to kneel, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks
· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
