Job Duties:
•Provide on-site support for heavy equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely, high-quality service
•Diagnose faults or malfunctions and repair heavy equipment
•Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
•Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment failure and downtime
•Prepare accurate reports
•Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
•Maintain tools and work areas in safe, clean condition
•Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Skills Required:
•Willingness to work flexible shifts and ability to travel to customer sites
•Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
•Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
•Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex equipment issues
•Experience with preventative maintenance procedures
•Ability to safely operate and test heavy machinery
•Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and equipment
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
•Ability to work independently and in remote field conditions
•Effective communication skills with team members and clients
•Must be able to obtain valid driver's license
Experience Required:
•3 - 5 years of technical experience
•Experience with OEM is greatly beneficial
Education Required:
•High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Wage & Hours: $ 38.46
•Number of hours per day: 8-12 (may vary)
•Number of days per week: 5-7 (may vary)
•Number of hours per week: 75 hours bi-weekly guaranteed
•Overtime starts after how many hours: after 88 hours bi-weekly
•Shift rotation (as applicable): on-call work; underground shift; rotation schedule available: 5-5-4 days in/out or 2 weeks in - 2 weeks out depending on the workload
