Clandestino Food & Drink (2688809 Ontario Inc.) is looking for One (1) Executive Sous-chef to perform the following duties:
· Assist in planning and executing menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
· Plan menus and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
· Prepare and cook meals.
· Ensure consistency in taste and portioning across all dishes.
· Innovate new recipes and seasonal dishes.
· Schedule kitchen staff and manage shift rotations.
· Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels.
· Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
· Conduct daily kitchen walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and organization.
· Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
· Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
· Support team communication and maintain smooth service flow.
Terms of Employment:
· Salary: $ 34.07 per hour; 40 hours per week
· Permanent, Full-Time
· Start date: immediately
Requirements:
· Education: Completion of secondary school or related field
· Experience: Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity and experience as a sous-chef, specialist chef or chef.
