As part of our ongoing expansion, we are currently hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing security operations team.

Job Details

• Position Title: Cybersecurity Analyst

• Number of Positions: 1

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

• Hours: 30-35 hours per week

• Wage: $49.00 per hour

• Start Date: As soon as possible

• Language: English

• Work Environment: On-site at our Brampton location

Job Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Pearl Technologies Limited, you will:

• Monitor systems and networks for security alerts, cyber threats, intrusions, and unauthorized access

• Apply and manage encryption protocols and key systems to protect data in transit and at rest

• Review and deploy user access requests while ensuring appropriate credential management

• Install, test, and operate security tools, including anti-virus, endpoint protection, and threat detection systems

• Participate in the organization’s incident response activities in alignment with established plans and procedures

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with penetration testing as needed

• Assist in documenting and updating IT security policies, procedures, risk assessments, and recovery plans

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance across operating systems, databases, and network devices

• Participate in security awareness campaigns and help promote cybersecurity best practices

• Remain up to date with current security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field is required

Experience Requirements

• No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided to the selected candidate

Additional Requirements

• Strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn technical concepts and tools

• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and good communication skills

• Ability to follow procedures and adapt to evolving technologies
