Job description
Wages: $27 per hour
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Work hours: 40 hours per week
Language: Basic English, Cantonese or Mandarin are assets
Job duties:
1) Prepare and cook complete Chinese cuisine meals or individual dishes and foods;
2) Determine the size of food portions and costs;
3) Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
4) Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
5) Train staff in preparation, cooking and handing of food;
6) Clean kitchen and work areas;
7) Organize and manage buffets and banquets
Credentials:
Chinese cuisine cook certificate
Experience and specialization:
At least 2 years of experience as a Chinese cook in Chinese cuisine restaurant is required.
Education:
Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
