Bready Café is looking for One (1) Restaurant Assistant Manager to work with the Restaurant Manager in performing duties including the following:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
- Implement operational procedures
- Recruit staff and oversee staff training
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.
Terms of Employment:
- Salary: $26 to $36 per hour depending on experience; 40 hours per week
- Permanent, Full-Time
- Start date: immediately
Skills Requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: No education required; Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management an asset
- Experience: minimum 1 year of experience in commercial food preparation or service
