2322819 Ontario Inc. O/A Right Service Right Choice has an immediate opening for Truck Drivers Supervisor (TEER 2: 72024) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario.

As a Truck Drivers Supervisor, you will perform some or all of the following duties:

Truck Drivers Supervisor perform some or all the following duties:

·        Supervise, co- ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate trucks transport vehicles.

·        Manage schedules, and monitoring driver performance to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.

·        Co-ordinate assign and review work.

·        Ensure all drivers adhere to transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies, including hours of service rules, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling procedures.

·        Establish methods to meet work schedules and co- ordinate work activities with other departments.

·        Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance.

·        Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

·        Maintain accurate records related to driver logs, delivery schedules, vehicle inspections, and incidents. Prepare reports for management on driver performance, safety, and operational issues.

·        Dispatch truck drivers and monitor rotes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems.

·        Work closely with logistics, dispatch, and warehouse teams to optimize delivery schedules and ensure smooth operations.

·        Order Material, equipment and supplies.

·        Arrange for maintenance and repair work.

Qualifications:  

• Completion of secondary school is required;
• 1 to 2 years of experience related to the position is required.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)

Compensation: CAD $38.30/ hour
