Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented Level 1 IT Support Specialist to join our growing technical support team. This role is responsible for onboarding new clients, troubleshooting IT issues, managing devices through MDM solutions, and providing remote and onsite support. The ideal candidate has experience in Mac and Windows environments, Google Workspace, Office 365, MDM solutions (Intune/Jamf), and networking

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & IT Setup

 

•      Onboard new clients by assessing their tech stack (Mac/Windows, Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, and other SaaS applications).

•      Configure user accounts, permissions, and security settings for a seamless transition.

•      Provide training to clients on IT policies, best practices, and usage of their new systems.

 

Technical Support & Ticketing System (Autotask PSA)

 

•      Log, track, and manage support tickets using Autotask PSA, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.

•      Prioritize and escalate issues as needed while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

•      Provide support for software applications, hardware, networking, and cloud services.

 

Remote & Onsite Troubleshooting

 

•      Use remote support tools like Splashtop and TeamViewer to diagnose and resolve client issues efficiently.

•      Perform onsite troubleshooting for networking, printer setups, and Zoom/Teams rooms.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex IT issue.

 

Device Management & Security

 

•      Set up and enroll computers into MDM solutions (Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or similar) to enforce security policies.

•      Ensure compliance with device management, encryption, and cybersecurity best practices

Qualifications

·        College diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·        1+ year of experience in a technical support, helpdesk, or desktop support role.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.

·        Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).

·        Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and IT ticketing systems.

·        Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
