Gobong 88 in Burnaby, BC is currently looking for a Server to join our team.
Position: Server
Positions Available: 1
Wage: C$20.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30-35 hrs/week
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay
Business Location: 9928 Lougheed Hwy., Burnaby, BC V3J 1N3
Job Duties:
- Greet and seat customers and present menus
- Describe menu items, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding our Korean food and beverages
- Take orders and relay to kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages
- Present bill to customers and accept payment
- Provide customer service
- Clean tables after customers leave
- Maintain inventory of beverages
Job requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- No experience is required, but previous food service experience would be an asset. On-the-job training is provided.
- The Serving It Right certificate is required. You must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- A customer-oriented attitude and efficient interpersonal communication skills are required.
- Language of work: English
