Ono’s Sushi in Abbotsford, BC is looking for a qualified Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Job Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager (Permanent)
Positions Available: 1
Hourly Wage: C$36.60 ~C$37.00
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:
v Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily shift operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency, customer service excellence and the restaurant’s profits
v Supervise, train and support the teams, maintaining strong teamwork
v Assist in recruiting, scheduling, and evaluating staff
v Track and monitor workflow and staff performance
v Implement company policies and operational procedures
v Monitor stock levels, place supply orders, and reduce waste
v Assist in monitoring sales performance
v Address any customer complaints and feedback professionally
v Ensure staff compliance with service standards, policies, and health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of secondary school
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role
- Additional Certificate: Serving-it-Right certificate
- Language: English
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Organized, Team Player
