Job Duties:
• Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of construction and mining equipment.
• Working in-house and at customer sites.
• Accurately documenting services performed.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Repair and replacing defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• Use computers to find repair instructions and order parts.
Skills Required:
• Strong technical background.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Experience repairing Manitou telehandlers and forklifts preferred.
Experience Required:
• 3 to 5 years of experience working with a wide range of equipment.
• Experience with underground mining equipment an asset.
• Experience with aerial equipment an asset.
Education Required:
• High School Diploma
Wage & Hours: $ 41.65
• Number of hours per day: 8
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 40
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 44
• Shift rotation (as applicable): N/A
Other:
• An additional $10/hr is paid for underground.
• An additional $5/hr is paid for out-of-town work (where overnight stays are required).
• We reimburse $150/hr for steel-toed boot purchases annually (after the first year of employment).
