Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary

INDWISCO LIMITED is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support and grow its sales operations in the steel manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of steel products with proven sales skills to manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support revenue growth across Canada and the United States.

Terms of Employment:

·         Salary: $100,000 per annual plus commission and bonus; 40 hours per week

·         Permanent, Full-Time

·         Start date: immediately

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell low carbon, stainless steel, and specialty wire products to industrial and commercial customers
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities in domestic and international markets
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers through regular communication and site visits
• Provide technical product information and application guidance to customers
• Prepare sales quotations, contracts, and follow-up documentation
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to meet customer requirements
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts

·         Assess clients' needs, recommend or assist in the selection of appropriate goods and negotiate prices or other sales terms

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand

Requirements:

·         Education: College diploma or above in marketing or business management or related field

·         Experience:

o   Minimum three years of experience in technical sales in B2B in the steel industry

o   Experience in steel wire metal manufacturing and knowledge of steel wire industry dynamics and players is a strong asset

o   Experience in steel, metal manufacturing, or industrial products is a strong asset

·         Skills:

o    Strong technical understanding of industrial products

o    Excellent communication and negotiation skills

o    Ability to read technical specifications or drawings is an asset

o    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

o    Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
