Job Responsibilities:
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Prepare and submit reports
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Resolve work related problems and suggest improvements for smooth working
- Train workers in duties and policies and conduct timely performance reviews
- Arrange training for staff
- Supervise, assign and review work of workers involved in departments including shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products; processing purchasing transactions; coordinating production work; dispatching crews; scheduling transportation crews and routes; and other related activities
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures for safety and security, standards and regulations in force and participate in their improvement
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
