As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Woodstock, Ontario.

Position Summary

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day logistics, dispatch, tracking, and scheduling operations. This role ensures the efficient movement of goods, effective supervision of logistics staff, and compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise logistics and transportation operations, including shipping, receiving, dispatch, and inventory coordination.

  • Assign duties, establish work schedules, and monitor the performance of logistics and transportation staff.

  • Coordinate transportation routes, schedules, and operational workflows to meet service and delivery requirements.

  • Prepare and review operational reports related to scheduling, performance, and logistics activities.

  • Resolve operational issues, service disruptions, and work-related problems, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

  • Train employees on job duties, company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

  • Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing staff development.

  • Ensure the proper use and smooth operation of logistics systems, computer equipment, and related machinery, and arrange maintenance or repairs as required.

  • Requisition supplies, materials, and equipment needed to support logistics operations.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and security procedures, and applicable transportation regulations.

Computer & Technology Knowledge

  • Electronic scheduling and dispatch management systems

  • Inventory control and tracking software

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based applications

Job Requirements

  • Language: English

  • Education: Completion of a post-secondary program (college diploma or equivalent) in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field

  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, including supervisory responsibilities
