General Responsibilities & Duties
- Authorize payments and the return of merchandise.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise.
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Assign sales workers to duties.
- Perform key holding and duties, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, and signing for deliveries.
- Maintains store cleanliness by ensuring all cleaning schedules are completed in a timely manner and all cleaning policies are followed.
- Trains staff on daily business activities and educate them on company policies and procedures.
- Enforces policies and procedures.
- Monitors staff performance and provide feedback.
- Follow health, safety and occupational standards set by the government and by the employer.
- Check the product quality, monitor expiration dates and rotate stocks as needed.
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide product information.
Requirements
College Certificate or Diploma, or equivalent experience
1-2 years work experience
