Curry Hill Retail Sales Limited is a busy gas station, convenience store, and truck stop catering to both local customers and highway travelers. Due to the high volume of daily retail and fuel transactions, we are seeking a Sales Supervisor – Retail to oversee front-line sales operations and ensure consistent customer service and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of sales staff and cashiers in the convenience store and gas station

• Assign duties and prepare staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours

• Support front-line staff by performing sales and customer service duties when required

• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to retail and fuel transactions

• Authorize payments, refunds, and merchandise returns in accordance with company procedures

• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for convenience store merchandise

• Ensure store cleanliness, product displays, signage, and overall presentation standards are maintained

• Hire and train new sales staff and provide ongoing guidance to ensure consistent service quality

• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to maintain efficiency and service standards

• Prepare basic reports related to sales activity, inventory levels, and staffing

• Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate shift reconciliation

• Open and close retail operations as required

Job Requirements

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high school) diploma

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent retail sales experience is required

• Experience working in a high-volume retail or convenience store environment is preferred

• Experience handling cash, processing payments, and completing shift reconciliations is an asset

• Experience supervising or supporting staff during busy shifts is an asset

Terms of Employment

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 30–35 hours per week

Wage: $36.00 per hour

Work Location: On-site only

Work Schedule: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, as required by store operations
