M&A DISCOUNT STORES PLUS INC. has immediate opening for an experienced Retail Store Manager (TEER: 60020) at our location in Scarborough, Ontario.

As a Retail Store Manager (TEER: 60020), you will perform some or all the following duties:

·        Plan, oversee, and assess the activities of businesses that sell wholesale and retail goods, or the departments in such businesses.

·        Choose the goods and services to sell, then put price and credit rules into place.

·        To ascertain customer demand, prospective sales volumes, and the impact of rivals' operations on sales, examine market research and trends.

• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Manage staff and assign duties

·        Take care of staffing needs, such as hiring, training, and retaining employees

·        Create and carry out marketing plans

·        Assess and enhance customer service and address the needs and concerns of customers

·        Whenever required, source products for resale and bargain with vendors.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A university degree or college diploma in business administration or other field related to the product or service being sold may be required.
• Several years of related retail or wholesale sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility are usually required

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)

Compensation:  $ 43.50/hour
