Job Duties:
• Read, understand, and execute fabrication instructions as illustrated on work orders, diagrams, drawings and Raglan Industries standards.
• Adhere to Raglan industries preventive maintenance protocol and waste elimination systems.
• Set-up and adjust welding equipment to produce quality welds.
• Use mechanized welding equipment whenever possible to save time and improve quality.
• Manually weld maintaining length of arc and speed of movements to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle to achieve weld profiles in adherence to welding procedure specifications and welding standards.
• Weld in fiat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to meet specifications.
• Operate job-related equipment (cut off saw, ironworker, hydraulic presses, shears, drill presses, torches, oxygen lances, pneumatic/power actuated tools, & plasma cutters).
• Fit and assemble simple as well as complex assemblies.
• Good housekeeping practices at all times, to help maintain safe work areas for yourself and your co-workers.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxyacetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW).

Experience Required:
• 3 years of experience.

Education Required:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
