Job duties:
· Prepare fresh fish for sashimi by expertly slicing and cutting using traditional Japanese techniques.
· Weigh, package, label, and present sashimi-grade fish products for dine-in and take-out customers, ensuring accuracy.
· Offer recommendations on sashimi selections based on customer preferences and availability.
· Conduct thorough inspections of fish quality, ensuring adherence to freshness standards and proper handling techniques.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of cutting equipment, display areas, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards.
· Receive and store fresh fish merchandise, following strict protocols to preserve freshness and prevent contamination.
· Adhere to government health and safety regulations and uphold occupational standards to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
Experience and Education requirements:
· Completion of secondary school
· 1-7 months relevant experience.
