Cityscape Sign Systems Inc. has immediate opening for a welder
(TEER 2: 72106) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario.
As a Welder (TEER 2: 72106), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
· Repair damaged metal items by adding additional layers through welding
· Manage soldering and brazing equipment
· Use techniques like gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding, and submerged arc welding (SAW) to fuse metal segments using manual or semi-automated welding equipment.
· Run metal shaping equipment, including shears, brakes, and other devices for bending and straightening metal
· Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
Qualifications:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
OR
Having one to two year experience is required as a Welder

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 36.10 per hour
