Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. This role is ideal for individual who is passionate about helping others, with experience or interest in assisted living, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities. As a Care Provider, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in your care through personalized support, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to care plans specific to each individual’s needs
Skills
- Experience in assisted living or home care preferred
- Knowledge of senior care and working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, fluent in Tagalog language is preferred.
- Ability to handle medication administration accurately
- Capable of meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions
- Basic cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in the client’s environment
- Prior experience caregiving roles is advantageous but not mandatory
