Supervisors (TEER 2: 12013) at our location inMississauga, Ontario.
As a Logistics Supervisors (TEER 2: 12013), you will perform some or all ofthe following duties:
• Co-ordinate, assign and dispatch drivers; scheduling transportation androutes
• Processing purchasing transactions
• Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
• Co-ordinate activities with other supply-chain work units or departments
• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities withother work units or
departments
• Resolve work related problems
• Prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Train and guide other employees in job duties, safety procedures andcompany policies
• Check and manage inventory, supplies and materials
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and equipment and arrangefor maintenance
and repair work
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply
chain, production or manufacturing management andrelated is usually required or
• 1-2 years of experience in the occupation supervised are usually required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (30-40 hours/week)
Compensation: $36.10 per hour
