2078471 Ontario inc.  O/A K.P. Construction has an immediate opening for a 1 Carpenter (TEER 2: 72310 at our location in Brampton, Ontario.

As a Carpenter - (TEER 2: 72310), you will perform some or all of the following duties:

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Prepare and mark layouts in accordance with applicable building codes using appropriate measuring tools
• Cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials including engineered products and light-gauge steel components
• Analyze and understand blueprints, drawings, and sketches to identify specifications and compute needs.

·        Perform maintenance, repair, and renovation work on residential and commercial structures

·        Oversee apprentices and other construction workers.

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

·        Install and fit trim pieces such hardware, doors, staircases, and molding.

Qualifications:

·       Completion of secondary school (high school) is required.

·       1-2 years of Previous experience in the field and at the position is required

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)

Compensation:  $36.10 per hour
