Charger Logistics Inc. is a leading transportation and logistics provider operating across North America. We are seeking a Business Methods Analyst to analyze operational procedures, evaluate business methods, and support process improvement initiatives across the company’s logistics and transportation operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing organizational procedures, identifying operational inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to systems, workflows, and business processes that support dispatch, fleet operations, logistics coordination, compliance, and corporate functions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and provide advice on managerial methods, organizational structures, and operational procedures related to logistics and transportation activities.
- Conduct research and operational assessments to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies, workflows, and programs.
- Develop and recommend improvements to methods, systems, procedures, and operational processes to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Evaluate logistics operations, dispatch procedures, reporting systems, and workflow processes to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality management and service improvement standards across operational departments.
- Prepare reports, process documentation, workflow analyses, and recommendations for management regarding operational efficiency initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal departments including operations, dispatch, compliance, fleet management, customer service, and administration to support process optimization initiatives.
- Participate in operational improvement projects, process mapping exercises, and implementation of updated business procedures.
- Support management with data analysis, performance tracking, and operational reporting related to transportation and logistics activities.
- Assist in training staff on updated operational procedures, systems, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may also be considered.
- One to two years of experience in business analysis, transportation operations, logistics coordination, process improvement, or a related field
- Experience within the transportation and logistics industry is considered an asset.
Required Skills and Technical Knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations including dispatch coordination, fleet operations, freight movement, and workflow processes.
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies, workflow analysis, and operational optimization techniques.
- Experience working with ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), or operational software is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
